Box & Packaging Recycling

Our boxes, liners and pots can be recycled, please check with your local authority. The sorba-freeze ice packs can be popped in your freezer and reused for picnics. The WoolCool liners are perfect for a compost bin if you have one.

We offer a recycling collection service in certain areas within Greater London and Essex:

  • If your postcode begins with RM, we will collect your old boxes when we deliver your new one.
  • If you have an Essex county postcode, we no longer collect your old boxes when delivering your new one. To arrange collection of your old boxes and pots at a time that suits you, please email us @ collections@logansplate.com . We will then come and grab them from you FREE OF CHARGE.
  • If you are outside of these areas, unfortunately we are unable to offer a recycling programme at this time. It is something we are working on.

When will my delivery arrive?

As all meals are prepared and shipped on the same day. You select your delivery day at checkout. Deliveries are either with our local drivers or are shipped overnight with our partner DPD. Delivery times vary each week. We will always contact you with an approximate delivery window. You should receive a message from us or DPD by 3pm on your delivery day, but please be patient.

Why are your meals better than a pouch or jar?

Pouches and jars are a quick and easy solution for when you’re out and about with no access to a microwave. Logan’s Plate meals are not a replacement, but a fresh, homemade alternative. You can see, smell and taste all of the ingredients, unlike with the mush that comes out of a pouch.

They’re very expensive, why?

All of the ingredients are fresh and where possible organic. This increases the cost of the meal to make. We’re also a small business making smaller amounts, so we don’t benefit from wholesale discounts.

Can I choose a preferred delivery day?

Unfortunately not. To guarantee ultimate freshness we cook and ship the meals within 24hrs of the ingredients being delivered or collected.

What if I’m not in?

We’ll leave your box on your doorstep or in a safe place on your property. Our boxes keep the meals cool for up to 8hrs.

How do the meals arrive? What packaging is used?

We deliver the meals in a cardboard box with Woolcool insulation and sorba-freeze cool blocks. Using Woolcool is much more environmentally friendly than other leading insulators. The boxes keep the meals cool for up to 8hrs, if you’re not in they will keep on your doorstep until you get home.

Can I change my delivery address?

Yes, as long as it is before 12 noon the day before your delivery day. You will need to do this by phone by calling 0203 0028 486

I’ve had all the meals, are there more options?

We will be launching new meals regularly so keep checking. If there’s a particular meal you’d like us to make for you, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

How do I order?

Order online via the Order/Our Food link found on our website.

Where do you get the ingredients from, are they all organic?

Our ingredients come from a variety of organic stockists: Choice Organics, Planet Organic, Tesco, French’s Farm, Hawkins and Sons and Waitrose. Currently all of our ingredients are organic except for our Salmon – which is sustainably sourced. If for any reason we have been unable to source organic ingredients we will inform you before your delivery day.

Do I have to sign up to weekly deliveries?

We do not enforce a subscription. Order as often as you like. There is a minimum order though, this is explained in the checkout area. If you do want to set up regular deliveries we can arrange that for you.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel or postpone your order by 12 noon the day before your confirmed delivery day. You may be a charged for cancellation, but you can postpone for free.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

All allergy information is available within the ingredients list of each meal. Some meals contain allergens and some are allergen free. Please do not order if you have a severe allergies.

When is the order cut off for deliveries?

Order by Friday 9:30am for delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver throughout the UK, excluding NI, Scottish Islands, Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Scilly Isles. Delivery charges apply.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery charges vary depending on your location. All charges will be displayed once you have entered your postcode. There is a minimum order (you can see what the minimum is in the shopping basket).
